How the Process Works
We understand how confusing and frustrating it can be to deal with the process of trying to get your car repaired. This is where we come in – we deal with the insurance company for you. When you drop your car off with Uptown, all you need to do is wait for us to call you and let you know it’s done!
To help, we’ve laid out how the process typically goes. Of course, there are always exceptions, for example if your vehicle is not drivable. If you have any questions, feel free to give us a ring and we will be happy to help.

Our staff will go over the damage and answer any questions you may have. If you bring your claim number, we can also send your estimate and photos to the insurance company for you.
After your insurance company approves the estimate, you can give us a call to schedule your repairs.
You can also click here to access the online Repair Authorization Form, giving us your permission to proceed.
We will order the parts ahead of time to speed up the process for you. If you have rental coverage, let us know and we can also set up your rental car for you.
If you have a rental car, the rental car can meet you here when you drop off your car for repair, to help make it a one-stop shop for you. If you’re located in the Bremerton area, take advantage of our free shuttle service by giving us a call!
Sometimes there is damage we can’t see until we get your vehicle in and complete teardown. If we see there is more damage, we will take photos and create a supplement. We then send this to your insurance to approve. Thankfully, Uptown is a direct repair for many insurances which also helps speed up the process!
Before we call you to let you know your vehicle is done, we will give it a wash, vacuum, and quality check the vehicle to make sure everything is perfect. Your vehicle is then stored safely behind a locked fence until you can pick it up. We also offer after-hour pickups, and a free local shuttle service.
